Crash games, tested in the demo
Crash games are casino games in which a multiplier climbs from 1.00x until it suddenly “crashes”. Cash out before that moment and you win your stake times the multiplier; wait too long and the stake is lost. Rounds last seconds, the rules fit in one sentence and you decide when to stop, which is why games like Aviator and JetX became so popular. We played ten of them in their official demos and compared them.

The ten games we played
Six are classic multiplayer crash rounds where everyone watches the same multiplier. Four are single-player “crash-style” games where you trigger your own round.

How a crash round works
- Bet before the start. A countdown or bet-receiving phase lets you place one or more stakes.
- The multiplier climbs from 1.00x. A plane, jet, rocket or helicopter carries it upwards.
- Cash out before the crash. Your win is the stake × the multiplier at that moment. Miss it and the stake is lost.
The crash point is decided by the game’s random number generator, not by how long you wait. Read how crash games work for the details, or jump to auto cash-out, the tool that won most of our test rounds.
Which crash game suits you?
What we learned from playing
- Manual cash-outs lost us rounds in Aviator, JetX, Aviatrix and Crash X; automatic cash-outs won in Aviator, Crash X and Space XY.
- Disconnection rules differ: Aviator and Aviatrix cash you out, JetX leaves your bet in the round. See the comparison.
- RTP is not always one number. JetX and Helicopter X give a range; Crash X says tiny stakes can drop it to 88.07%. See crash game RTP.
- No strategy changes the crash point. The rules of JetX and Balloon say so in plain words. See strategy and myths.
Frequently asked questions
What is a crash game?
A casino game where a multiplier rises from 1.00x until it “crashes” at a random point. You win your stake times the multiplier if you cash out before the crash.
Can I play crash games for free?
Yes. Every game on this site has a link to the provider’s official demo with play money. See the free demos page.
Which crash game has the highest RTP?
Of the games we tested, Chicken Road lists 98% (InOut). JetX and Helicopter X go up to 98.9% in their best configuration, and Space XY up to 98.92%, depending on strategy.
Can you predict a crash game?
No. The crash point is generated by the game’s RNG, and the rules of JetX and Balloon say the player’s actions or strategy do not influence the result.
